Rare Plant Surveys on the Pinon Canyon Maneuver Site 2006-2007

The Colorado Natural Heritage Program performed field surveys on dwarf milkweed, round-leaf four-o’clock, Arkansas Valley evening primrose, and rayless goldenweed- all globally rare but not listed as endangered.  The information provided by mapping locations will facilitate natural resource planning at the installation, and inform rare plant protection in SE Colorado in partnership with other organizations.
