Rare Plant Surveys on Fort Carson 2006-2007
The Colorado Natural Heritage Program performed field surveys on dwarf milkweed, round-leaf four-o’clock, Arkansas Valley evening primrose, and Pueblo goldenweed, and Arkansas River feverfew- all species at risk but not listed as endangered. The information provided by mapping locations will facilitate natural resource planning at the installation, and provide valuable data about these important elements of biodiversity.
